Architectural and urban spaces have always been the basis of the completion of communal life. The dynamism of these spaces is directly related with the dynamism of designing, management and implementation within the whole city. In the cities with genius architects, urban designers and managers, the practical spaces of the mentioned qualities can be clearly found.

If we consider in mind that the knowledge of urban design and architecture is the basis for these acts, then, among the most influential theoreticians in the world, Professor Jon Lang, whose valuable books have been translated by Iranian Urban design and architecture professors, is of high eminence both in theory and practice. The question here is how we can best use the knowledge and experience of such an influential expert for other architects and urban designers in Iran?

In order to optimistically use the 40-year experiences of Professor Jon Lang within the fields of architecture and urban design, the Institute of Eco-Design Idea in cooperation with Tehran University, College of Fine Arts, have organized a 4day seminar and workshop by Professor Jon Lang for the first time in Iran. The seminar and workshop will create a space of scientific and professional dynamism and vitality, and goes along with contemporary urban design and architectural practices and paradigms in the world. It will be held on April 30^th to May 3^rd.
